Who's listening to what these days in Northern New Jersey? You know, law enforcement, or local chatter? What about chatter from local restaurants headsets? Years past I was strangely into their chatter. Baby monitors? Was into cordless phones before only while they were 46, 49 mhz.

Unless you are in parking lot of restaurant or driveway of house with a baby monitor, you can forget about either of these. Very low power devices.

Almost true, depending on the receiving equipment can improve reception. Yeah, I had prior experience with like McDonald's, and a few others, but I'm realizing putting aside the low power is they are up in the other range of 2.4 ghz. As a child, and mischievous use to interfere with McDonald's, change the order, or enjoy the chatter between the employees. There was a local McDonald's in near Rutherfordton NC, lister of them cause I lived near, and one day was getting an order, hear them say disrespectful comments towards me, and I brought it up to their management which from then on didn't repeat over the air, but between yells, lol! Not all is the same, some devices perhaps a longer distance but meanwhile shorter. Thanks for your response.
