Hello, I'm looking for suggestions to help me stream on Broadcastify. I'm currently streaming a feed on Broadcastify but I have to shut the feed off at night. I am seeking suggestions on what to do to be able to keep it on all night. I'm currently just using my PC and a Baofeng UV-5R. Please also suggest better radios.

It all depends on what you plan to monitor/broadcast. If everything is analog, then any scanner (or even Baofeng) will do. Some people also use an SDR connected to their PC or a Raspberry Pi in place of a PC.

Keeping a feed online 24/7 is as simple as leaving the equipment turned on. Some go to the extreme of even having it with battery backup in case of power failure. I just use my everyday PC to host my feed, leaving it on 24/7 and restarting it about once a week. Works out well for me.

Thanks for the help. I’m streaming analog. Maybe in the near future I’ll try to do the raspberry pi. Is there any documentation on how to do it for the raspberry pi?

Yes, I believe the Wiki has lots of info. There is even a "Broadcastify image" you can load onto them with the necessary software to start streaming. I know very little about them so someone else can chime in here.

Alright, thank you. I've found the wiki article on how. The raspberry pi is now bought and is being shipped. Thanks for all your help!
