Looking for case for Pro 97

Just recently purchased the Pro 97 and don't really like the clip. Does anyone know where I can find a carrying case for it? Also, currently using the stock antenna, any suggestions on a better one?

I agree...the clips are horrible, I already broke two. I got THIS CASE from www.scannermaster.com . Very heavy duty and works well. Provides excellent protection for your new pro-97, and I definitley recomend getting one.

As far as the antenna, I use the 800MHz ANTENNA from radio shack, works excellent for me as I listen to a lot of 800MHz Frequencies, as far as the other bands it is better (in my opinion) than the stock "rubber duckie" your scanner came with.

Also, have you visited Don Starr's website on software for programming your pro-97 thru your computer? Its called Win97 ( from www.starrsoft.com )and it is AWESOME. Makes programming your scanner MUCH easier than doing it by hand. You get the software free for 30 days, but its the full version of the software so you can try it out. After the 30 days, it is well worth the purchase price of 25 bucks. You'll also need THIS CABLE from radio shack to download/upload using the software.

I went to a local PD supply and got a leather belt-loop radio case for about 20 bucks. Similar, no plastic window, but hey, it's in the PD shop for a reason. The fancy SWAT-style swivel belt-clip was about 34.00. I also agree that the 800Mhz antenna is a good buy.

I bought one from Lilkase.com. A nice fit and great, quick service. Or check with safetyobc, a member on this forum.

Mine is from Scannermaster as well.

Heavy duty leather, NO plastic window, and the heavy duty belt swivel.

Highly recommended.

Thanks for the replies with different options, but I was really looking for one with just a metal clip and not the belt loop.
