Islandwide 3 may be the input frequency to the repeater, in simplex mode, for either Islandwide 1 or Islandwide 2. Try one of these:

153.740 - Input for Islandwide 1 (158.7525)
153.995 - Input for Islandwide 2 (158.835)

Agencies sometimes use repeater input frequencies in simplex mode for talkaround purposes. If, in this case, they are using one of these frequencies for fire ground operations at the scene of a call, it may very well be low power, like maybe 5 or 10 watts, whiich means you may not be able to pick it up if you're too far away.

Let us know if it is one of these or if you find something else out.

I am not certain but I think it may be 155.235 or 155.355 as 235 is licensed to Beach Haven and 355 is licensed to Barnegat Light. If its not one of them then I dont have a clue......fineshot1

Those two frequencies are designated and used as Fire Ground North & South Common. At a fire call recently I heard the Chief for either Station 46 or 49 (not exactly sure which one) tell the units to switch to Fire Ground North Common.
