Looking to buy a couple radios.

I haven't used the Kenwood but I love my Yaesu! I use it as a scanner too because it is WAY better sounding than any scanner I've ever had. If you are going through repeaters you may not care about power but there have been days when I could only make the simplex trip home on 75 watts.

A little power would be nice, I do a lot of fishing, camping, hunting etc in the warmer months and some in the winter as well so having the ability to bump up the power to hit a repeater from the bush would be nice.
