BCD436HP/BCD536HP: Looking to Buy

BC246T pooped out and local LEO's went to STARCOM21, looking to buy the BCD436HP but have some basic (dumb) questions.

NO AC wall adapter? So the unit must be hooked up to the PC using the USB unless its loaded with batteries. How long will the rechargeables last?

Using the Zip Code option will it pick up all UHF, VHF, trunked, and AP25 freqs?. My location has a mix of all of the these.

The unit can be powered by ANY USB source - be it a PC, Wall adapter, or anything that has a USB port.

My use gives me about 10 hours, but depending on many factors 8-12 hours may be seen.

The zip will load anything in the RR database (that is receivable) within the range specified for scanning. Make sure you enable all the Service Types to receive everything.
