Every LAPD radio has the LAWA PD dispatch frequency, it's patched on to their legacy conventional frequency. It's 181 on the LAPD radios.

Spot on. like the old saying, "you can lead a horse to water but you cant make him drink it", same holds true with the word "interoperability". It isn't a technology.

But you can make it wish it had drank the water! This is a way of getting compliance in using "interoperability" to an acceptable level. However, in my opinion you must have the physical ability for "interoperability" and the training to use it in an effective and timely manner. I think you need both!

I have been told you have a lot of hoops to jump through to be allowed to use MOSWIN which Homeland Security help pay for in Missouri with "interoperability" in mind but you must follow all the rules for it to work and to be allowed to continue to use it.
