I've just finished mapping the fire tone outs (a.k.a. "knockout" tones) for Louisville City Fire - 460.625/KII319. They use the GE encoder system, so I've included the GE tone numbers as well.

The list below is comma delimited and is formatted as follows:
unit, G.E. sequence, tone A, tone B

If you have a BR330T/396T/etc. these work great with Tone Out Standby mode. Just program in the two tones listed, use 460.625 as your frequency and you're good to go.

car 51, 0-1, 682.5, 592.5
car 52, 0-2, 682.5, 757.5
car 53, 0-3, 682.5, 802.5
car 54, 0-4, 682.5, 847.5

engine 1 hazmat 1, 5-1, 892.5, 592.5
rescue 2 truck 1, 5-2, 892.5, 757.5
quad 6, 5-4, 892.5, 847.5
engine 5 truck 2, 2-5, 757.5, 892.5
engine 6, 7-6, 547.5, 937.5
engine 7, 8-7, 727.5, 547.5
engine 8, 5-8, 892.5, 727.5
telesquirt 9, 3-9, 802.5, 637.5
engine 10 truck 8, 2-8, 757.5, 727.5
engine 11 rescue 11 truck 7, 6-1, 937.5, 592.5
engine 12, 6-2, 937.5, 757.5
quint 9, 2-9, 757.5, 637.5
engine 15, 6-5, 937.5, 892.5
engine 16 truck 3, 2-6, 757.5, 937.5
squirt 17, 4-7, 847.5, 547.5
engine 18, 7-8, 547.5, 727.5
quint 5, 2-5, 757.5, 892.5
engine 20, 5-3, 892.5, 802.5
telesquirt 21, 7-1, 547.5, 592.5
engine 22 truck 4, 3-2, 802.5, 757.5
telesquirt 23, 7-3, 547.5, 802.5
quint 25, 1-4, 592.5, 847.5

I've tested most of these and they appear to be correct, but let me know if there are any errors.

I haven't mapped out County fire yet. If anyone has those, post them here.

I need the county tones, any luck yet?

Also there are some fire members on this list, you may want to post specifically which dept you want.

And if it is all, look at the wiki, information for finding the tones is listed.
It is not that hard, just time consuming.

As a fire guy, I'm not overly thrilled with the prospect of our pager toners being posted in a public forum. A while back there were some issues with mischief makers having radio capabilities and knowledge of the specific tones, maliciously activating firefighter pagers in the middle of the night. We get enough pager activations as it is.

While I support 99.9% of what scannists do, this is that .1% thing, and I hope there will be some understanding.

Yep, I know with a little effort, these tones can be discovered, and this nuisance can happen. I don't want to contribute to it, however.

I'm just looking for the fire and ems tones for Highview as well as the special teams (METRO HAZMAT, LMUSAR,Swift Water Rescue, ect).Don't need the whole county just my neighborhood dept and the teams so I'll know if something happening in my area or if something big is goin' down.

I agree with this.

Our county recently has been having trouble with someone that knows the tone hertz of our county fire departments setting off tones at 2-3 am in the morning.

Scanning is one thing but posting fire tone hertz in a public forum is something I am against as well.

Nothing I hate more worse than anything is getting woke up at 3:30 in the morning

ofd8001,

I have much the same feelings about network IDs. The average scanner listener doesn't need either pager tones or net IDs. Those who do should have another readily available avenue to get them besides this site.

Nothing like being the dispatcher working at 3am in the morning and hearing your notifier board go off that someone's tones have activated then looking around at the other Dispatchers asking if someone accidentally hit a button. Bad enough when another dispatch center sets off the tones for bordering agencies and don't call and let you know they are doing it.

I agree Chief and I don't even have a dog in the fight anymore.
