Summit County: US-6 Loveland Pass CDOT is reporting at least 2 avalanches down, unknown on burials but SAR is being paged and CSP Sgt is responding to the top of the pass.

GEORGETOWN (AP) - The Alpine Rescue Team says no one was hurt in avalanches reported near Loveland Pass.

Colorado Department of Transportation officials reported two avalanches in the backcountry.

Alpine Rescue Team spokesman Bill Barwick says one apparently happened Tuesday, and one happened Wednesday.

Barwick says sheriff's officials received a call from someone who reported being involved in an avalanche Wednesday, where tracks had been seen, but the caller reported being fine.

The Colorado Avalanche Information Center rated the avalanche danger as considerable for the area Wednesday.
