Low-band skip - 7/14/07 logs from SoCal

Here are my loggings for Saturday 7/14/2007 from Riverside County, California. Had a nice opening into the north of the state and it finally went even further into Oregon and Washington.

33.700 Talk about setting the LZ at the highschool for an airlift (multiple tone decodes of D043 and 136.5 - anyone verifiy?)
34.180 118.8 Voice inversion scrambling
35.940 173.8 Mentioned Santa Monica, probably something local out of Los Angeles but not listed in RR
39.060 118.8 open carrier
39.400 151.4 Rolling code inversion
39.480 118.8 weak comms
39.920 CSQ Digitized sounding voice inversion
42.080 107.2 CHP Susanville
42.160 131.8 CHP Marin
42.400 107.2 CHP Yreka (couple units simplex car-car) - "That dirt road goes down to Milford but they really can't get to the fire that way"

45.980 123.0 OM Running boat registrations. One came back to a subject out of Portland, Oregon

Affirm. There seems to be a lot of scrambled stuff in the 39 MHz range. I wonder if these are fishing boats? All the DX I heard was to my north. Nothing from the east and who knows about the west since it's all open water :)

On 35.94 173.8 this is a tow truck company in the West Hollywood area

On 45.54 136.5 this is Avalon, Catalina Fire Dept. "F3."

We've been getting quite a bit of LB Ducting in SW Mo as well..
almost everyday last week, I've been picking stuff up....usuallly I'm on my way to work..though...lol
