LR fire departments on analog?

I've been away from scanning for a while, just wanted to know if there are some fire departments in Pulaski that are still using the analog system instead of digital?

As far as I know, the only use of analog VHF would be for tone out. Most ops are now on the AWIN. The old analog 800 no longer exists. It was converted into an AWIN simulcast site.

Unrelated to your direct question, but...if you are looking for a scanner to rx the digital stuff and will be buying one, be sure to get one that will rx Phase 2 P25 traffic, not just Phase 1. The P25 AWIN system will soon undergo updates and upgrades to Phase 2. Just a side note, just in case! (LRPD is encrypted but ASP, AHP, ADEM, etc., are pretty much clear.)

Thanks I did not know that awin was upgrading,I'm still messing around with analog at the moment.I'll have to keep that info in mind when I'm able to purchase a new digital scanner,thanks again for the info!
