LVFR Dispatch?

I just started scanning the Vegas fire department and noticed that there's a ton of tactical chatter about PRs and stuff that's happening, but almost no context from the actual dispatcher about who's going where (example: fire at 2626 Lynwood St). Am I missing something or is dispatch actually somehow partially encrypted?

Specifically, I'm listening to channels like LVFR East, Northwest, Southwest, etc and haven't heard any dispatches!

I'll listen more attentively to see what exactly you mean but I personally have not experienced anything that would lead me to believe that they are partially encrypted. A lot of EMS/FD is dispatched mostly through CADs so the dispatcher may just be filling in the blanks or advising on updates to confirm that the crew actually understands what they are responding to.

Also Lynwood is in Clark Countys catchment area so if LVFR was running mutual aid into there I wonder if you'd have to listen to CCFD dispatch to see if the "meat" of the call was being dispatched on their channels and LVFR was just advising their own dispatch that they were responding. (Or maybe not since they all get dispatched from the same office.)

Yeah, basically I mean like there are calls like this one from Clark County South Central Dispatch
https://calls.broadcastify.com/a214/4111/1738040782-2571.mp3
where they tell you a specific job to go to and where it is.

I just have not heard any of that when listening to any of the LVFR channels for some reason, so it's hard to follow what's actually happening.
Yea I've heard a bunch of various FD traffic that sometimes leads me to believe that either dispatch or a Batt Cheif is transmitting on two channels at once. One TG I logged during a trunking discovery had the same unit ID number identifying themselves as command broadcasting relevant traffic with no replies from anyone else for the duration of the incident. So maybe they have some sort of "dual watch" capabilities to be able to monitor/transmit on different channels.

I'm guessing there is no relevant traffic on any other neighboring channels?
