Anyone know if the old analog/conventional channels are being used for PD comms in Laughlin, or has that stuff all been moved to another system. I'm taking a trip out there and wondering if it's worth spending the time programming any police frequencies or not. Thanks!

Thanks, Bryan. What about 159.15 and 159.09, listed in the database as LVMPD channels 13 & 14, Laughlin dispatch and tac? Any traffic on those?

I was in Laughlin Sunday, and all the traffic was on their p2 system encrypted. I had 158.790 and the other vhf admin frequency programmed in and I didn't hear anything on them . I used to be able to listen to 158.790 and 158.850 from my location near Kingman and hear Laughlin traffic on there, but lately I have not been receiving those frequencies. I'm thinking they took the vhf admin frequency down in the area, unless the repeater is down for whatever reason. I would program them in still, maybe you'll hear something... The other Laughlin dispatch frequencies and tacs have not been used for a while. I have heard from other people that sometimes the officers use them in simplex mode for chatting..

Laughlin is not very busy. When they do get calls I hear them here in Vegas on 158.7900

The database shows 159.1500 and 159.0900 as 'deprecated' so they're likely no longer in use.

I’m pretty sure Admin VHF has been shut off. This would apply to all of Clark County. (Mesquite, vegas bowl, laughlin, etc). Ive noticed the VHF Admin in Laughlin is tied with the VHF Admin in vegas, they are not two seperate channels.
