MOH in Zone 2 has been active at least as far back as June or July. There was a grass fire near Carleton Place that closed part of Hwy. 7 for awhile and the supervisors seemed to be using it (2CPLACE).

Some of the TG info looks like advance "insider" info submitted by someone far in advance of any activity. Some of it may have changed in the meantime. Recent submissions of mine (which lack names/locations so far) are actual ones from Trunker. I believe there is an MTO dispatcher on one of the scanner lists who might be able to decode the letter abbreviations, if they still apply.

A friend is a Kingston Dispatcher for MOH... they have been recently trained and when we last talked the change was coming "shortly" as far as they knew.

Heard Kingston dispatch on Provincial Common tell a car to go to fleetnet for a test just last week. The car came up on fleetnet on one of the talk groups for Kingston MOH ( I didn't get the # cause I was driving) but there was no response from dispatch. Momets later back on COM I learned that the car camr through but that dispatch was unable to respond. I imagine they will have the bugs out soon.

As far as MTO goes I have heard some of the TWD guys on fleetnet but only a little.

Are the MOH towers patched on Fleetnet ?

Regarding Zone 2 MOH, I also heard activity on the drummond tower in perth, Dave. But I can also pick up the Prescott Tower and I am wondering if they are patched. Because I could here a vehicle in prescott area on a perth tower site. It was 35244

My appologies. The conversation I heard was regarding TWD work on 401 and it was on the Prescott Tower on an MTO talkgroup. (Didn't write it down cause I was driving) Can,t say for sure if it was actually TWD guys.

Why did they skip over Lindsey and switch Kingston first? Doesn't Lindsay dispatch Northumberland County and Peterborough and area's along Lake Ontario?

Lindsay CACC

I don't know why Lindsay CACC is going online after Kingston, but I can tell you that we had the new radios installed last week in Peterborough Ambulances, and that the word directly from Lindsay CACC is that Northumberland/Haliburton/Peterborough will go on-line January 30 2006. We haven't had our MOH in-service training on the new radio system in Peterborough yet, so perhaps that is the delay.

Kingston before Lindsey

Another contributing factor may be that Durham has not switched over yet either. There is some cross-over between Durham and Lindsey espeically around Hwy. 35/115 north of the 401.
Some of us here in Durham have heard some testing on the FleetNet system but still no indication of in imminent switch over.
Just a thought to add.
