Mac OS5 on iPad Trouble

Hi Folks,
My roomate recently updated his ipad with os5 now having trouble updating apps from apple store, web sites crashing etc. Anybody having this kind of trouble, any advise. ipad is two years old.

I have both an iPad and an iPad 2 as well as 2 iPhones that have been upgraded to the new OS all with no difficulties.

You may want to reset the iPad by going into the Settings app, General tab, Reset then Reset All Settings.

If that doesn't work then try Restoring the iPad via iTunes.

Still not working? Make a Genius Bar appointment at your local Apple Store. Even if it is out of warranty they can usually help.

A lot of people are having difficulties with iOS5.0.0, Apple is releasing an update that is currently in beta testing phase that is supposed to clear up a lot of the bugs in 5.0.0.

You probably would need to restore it via itunes. Even a reset all settings probably wont fix anything, that just sets all the settings in the Settings.app to default. Definitley restore via itunes and probably best not to back it up first because backing up may bring the bug with it. Just start over, start fresh.
