13k people listening to a feed with an alert for something happening 2 hours away at a completely different school, in a different county?

Not to mention Leon County doesn't have feeds. What exactly are they all listening to? And why the alert?

That is not Broadcastify that is an independent scanner app which sends out alerts for notable events. You would need to ask them what is being monitored.

I noticed that as well. My guess is someone prematurely triggered that alert in the Scanner Radio app, not realizing that the feed was for Florida and not Florida State and then people just started clicking on the alert without closely paying attention to the feed title.
