I saw this on the news last night here is the link to the story:

Mission men caught with cash, guns & radio equipment : News : ValleyCentral.com

Mission Police Shut Down Money Laundering Operation - KRGV CHANNEL 5 NEWS - The Rio Grande Valley's News Channel - Breaking News, Breaking Stories - RGV News

When you click on the KRGV link and it opens to the right of the story there is a small screen with the video click the on that has a small table if you what to see the scanners more clearly. I think there are the PRO-97, and the PRO-106.

Since this is a federal crimes issue, the use of the scanner to aid in committing crimes is in itself a federal offense. Pile on the charges please!!! Trash like the guy they arrested needs to be slammed with every charge they can legally come up with.

Isn't using a scanner to commit ANY crime a federal offense?

It sure is... I could be mistaken be usually not charged with that offense. I was making my view known that I would like to see the bad guys get the book thrown at them. The more charges filed against them, the better.
