Can anyone confirm Manassas PD Dispatch (TG ID 2049) on the Manassas / Manassas Park Trunking System, Manassas, Virginia - Scanner Frequencies (radioreference.com) went encrypted? It's listed as digital mode only in the db. There was a post on the Scan-DC list asking if they've gone encrypted, but there does not seem to be any news or talk of this. The poster is trying to confirm he's programmed his radio correctly after hearing encrypted comms on what he believes is the Manassas PD dispatch TG. I'm to far away to confirm

Looks like it’s in the clear except for one feed that is part time encrypted.

Thanks, however I know what the database says. I would like to know if anyone can confirm with a scanner if it's coming in the clear or is it encrypted and not monitorable?

Confirming on my SDS100, TG for dispatch showing "ENCRY".

Manassas Park PD dispatch in the clear as we speak. Haven't heard anything from Manassas yet.

I agree w/ MPPD, trying to keep an eye on the TGID to see if it still shows ENCRY or not.

Did Manassas and park abandon any vhf fire simulcast when they merged dispatch with the county? Database still shows 154.980 as trs simulcast for the park.

Sorry for the tardiness, I checked. Only VHF-Hi traffic left is on the PWC channel, for paging.
