Changes?

Did something change Monday afternoon? I have always heard the dispatch "respond on group 13" or "group 21" now they are calling out specific tac channels like 2,4,5 and 8. It seems that if they were renaming the channels that something else would pop up but now I am only getting MCFR Patch (15-122)

Since Monday, my Uniden Home Patrol-1 no longer receives Manatee County Fire / EMS. I called Uniden support and they don't have any info on the changes that apparently have been made. The tech at Uniden said that my HP-1 won't receive Manatee County Fire / EMS until the most current info is passed on to Radio Reference.

you mean they actually did something? Ha Ha HA. I am used to months and years of talk without any jurisdiction actually doing anything. I have been listening the past few days and it only seems that the MCFR services and the "new" tac channels have changed. I loaded up all of the known talkgroups to see if they may have reorganized what they had but apparently there are just some new ones nobody knows about yet.

FR/EMS are on TGs in the 590s. I'm in Manatee investigating.

Dispatch (Tac 1) is 593. Tac 2 is 594, etc., etc. Have heard up to Tac 6 so far.

Tac 2 seems to be South. Out of county now. Figure 'em out, natives.

I use my Uniden HP-1 solely to monitor Manatee County Fire / EMS. Since the changes have been made, I don't receive anything at all for these agencies. How does the most current info get to Radio Reference so that Uniden HP-1 can be updated to receive Manatee County Fire / EMS?
