you might think about the SDS ones.
also try moving the radio around and that means up, down, across, change the angle of the antenna.
you have to find the sweet spot, if there is one.
this is the old rabbit ear antenna dance of decades ago.
i had trouble with my counties 700 simulcast system and did finally get the SDS100.

i understand, i am a cheap guy myself.
but seriously, move the radio around you are trying to get less signal because the problem is that the radio can 'hear' more than one tower.

RadioReference database is accurate for both Manchester FD and Lakewood FD. That’s exactly how I have them programmed.

And I guess double check in your 436 that FIRE Service Types are ON.
