At the present time, it appears that somewhere close to half the feeds are offline. One of my feeds which uses audio server 3 cannot reestablish a connection to the server.

We are having problems with server audio3.
We are working on it.
Sorry but we do not have an ETA for the fix at this time.

Hours huh? It doesn't take more than a couple minutes to figure out that if the streamer has internet connectivity then it means the server is down...

And just when we thought we'd seen the end of the troubles that plagued audio3...

So it's been down for 6 hours now.. Any news? If it's not back by tomorrow is it possible to switch them to one of the other servers?

2 out of 3 of my feeds are down and I have listeners sending me whinny emails already.
I see all 3 are down now. I would put a note in your status that Broadcastify is having server problems and it is beyond your control.

Another bad thing is it limits your member benefits as long as your feed(s) are offline.

I fixed it myself last night by changing my encoder from going to audio3.radioreference.com to audio3.broadcastify.com.

Once I did that it connected right up.

So to me looks like a DNS problem with audio3.radioreference.com.

Thanks.... Just did this myself and it connected without a hitch.

One of our master audio servers (audio3) died because of a hardware problem.

We failed over to a hot-standby - you'll need to restart your computer or feed providing device to make sure that the DNS changes are picked up.

Thanks,

Didn't work for me. Maybe it's time to pull the plug on my stream and sell the Barix Instreamer. Then I don't have to worry about lightning and switching over to an attic antenna.
