MARCS Cuyahoga Site issue

Hearing departments saying they are going through a different site then they normally do like Grafton and that the normal site (Cuyahoga) is down and the Mortola rep will be contacting them. I noticed nothing on the Cuyahoga site coming through and all traffic on other sites.

The Grafton site does report Cuyahoga as failed.



I will have to see if I can pickup any sites the Cuyahoga agencies may be using. Wonder how long this may last.

Starting to hear traffic on the Cuyahoga site again so not a long outage. I did hear Olmsted testing radios back on GCRN

Saturday night 2200hours, I found my GCRCN Cleveland site with no signal. Switched over to the Cuyahoga County MARCS and it comes in great.

Anybody else see a drop in the signal?

Using Unitrunker and I set the Chase to "Yes" and still no luck. Was working earlier in the day.

Also used SDRSharp to look for signal. GCRCN not signal and MARCSno issue.

Weird.

Just an FYI. I still can not pick them up. They must have lost a site out on the west side of Cuyahoga while doing the upgrade.
I'll be mobile tomorrow and I'll see if if I pickup anything while in Parma.

I was able to hear the system yesterday afternoon inside the building where I work in Avon, so it wasn't completely down. I'm not sure which sites I would hear from here, probably Westlake, although some could even be coming from Boston Rd.

Still nothing out here. I have a TRX-2 and I would normally pickup CPD on Route 10 before I hit Cuyahoga County. I finally got some traffic when I got close to the airport and Middleburg. I'm guessing one of the sites I was getting is down or it lost the antenna pointing my way. I'll just have to keep checking back.

Redid my antenna run and now GCRCN is working great. Funny how that happens.
