Margate City Beach Patrol

Quick question: Has anyone successfully monitored any radio transmissions from the Margate City Beach Patrol in Margate, NJ? I’ve picked up Ventnor and Longport BP’s but not a peep from Margate. Their talk group isn’t listed as being encrypted but I wonder if it is.

Hi David did you try their channel 2 Talkgroup 2303? Maybe they are using that?

Thanks Joe. I didn’t know MCBP had a second talk group. It’s now entered and we’ll see .

If no joy with aforementioned talkgroup, enable ID search on your scanner and this will allow traffic from unknown (to RR) talkgroups to pass through
