Marine feed

Are there any live marine feeds. It would be nice to listen in on Coast Gard freqs on the great lakes or atlantic or pacific coast stations. I live in the Bancroft area and there is little marine acctrivity up here so it would be nice to tune into marine search and rescue up here.

iPhone and Android both have apps that will listen. Run a search on here, as there have been a few discussions about that topic. (One was just a few days ago.)

Thanks for the help, I have downloaded a few apps but I think the real problem is there is not that many marine or other frequencies listed especialy I did not find one Coastgard frequencey, Think I will just have to wait for one to show up.

Try the Scanner Radio app. It lets you search by Genre where you can select Marine, and they are all listed there.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I found I had the right app all along but was not useing the brouse button properly. I did find some interesting targets but was hopeing to find Trenton military. Thanks again for the feedback I will keep my eyes open for some new database entries.

I Live near a lake in San Diego County California.We're 65 miles or so from San Diego Bay.Home of Navy Fleet&Countless Sportfishing&commercial& private ships&personal sailboats,Coast Guard staion,etc.Being the Ca. Coast with ALL these vessels,our Lake attendants can here the marine band freq's on there "walkie talkies here! I can't buy a scanner so depend on YOU guys.I realize too you can't Get Em All.I used to have a small transistor radio in late 80's lived closer to the coast sometimes picking p marine band traffic.I lived on Great Lakes Indiana 36 years fascinated by the ships&boating.I can't believe there's NOT ONE broadcast! You had one last Summer,LakeCounty,Indiana until an antenna problem.What happened? Curious "Marine" enthusiast.

The ONLY marine feed on the WHOLE WEST Coast is one county in OREGON? Thre's SO many Vessels along our Pacific Coast! I've been to boatnerd.com,etc.Anyone know w/o buying a VHS marine band "Ship to shore" how to listen to Ocean "traffic"? I wanted to spend more time on these forums ,but have this on all day usually listening to "First Responders in Traffic accidents,fires,floods ,etc.YOU are my ONLY hope for"EMERGENCY comm.! AM radio outhere in SAn Diego backcountry is NIL! Even with an "extended range" AM/FM radio ,with emergency's us "backcountry folks have no communication.I never owned a cell phone nor get High speed Internet.I don't mean to "snivel" about that either.It's the Haves or not.Radioreference&Broadcastify is a "GODSEND" to me! I'm trying to get a friend in South Carolina on here but he's NOT too "Tech savvy" He built his own Ultralight and flew it tho. Lot's to learn here THanks!
