UPDATE MARTINSVILLE, Ill.bank is robbed UPDATE

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Police arrest a man in connection with Tuesday morning bank robbery in Martinsville, Illinois.
Terre Haute police arrested James Howard Johnson, 21, of Terre Haute, this afternoon. Johnson faces preliminary charges of possession of stolen property and having a firearm as a convicted felon.
News 10 is told Terre Haute police thought they were solving a credit union robbery from last month, but they now believe Johnson is responsible for the robbery of the First Bank of Martinsville.
Police say some of that stolen property was identified as money from the Martinsville robbery, in which three people were pepper sprayed in the face. 121 gold coins police say were taken from a local credit union last month were also recovered.
Detectives working on that case is what brought them to Johnson's address on south 9th street this morning. "Quite honestly, this is just how our investigation on the cases we were working here progressed, kind of led us to that. he did seem to match the description of the robberies we had here," says Terre Haute Assistant Police Chief Shawn Keen.
Johnson is currently in the Vigo County jail on those two possession charges.
Illinois State Police say they have already filed charges against Johnson for the Martinsville bank robbery.
