I was wondering if 151.310 and the 151.235 frequencies are used a lot? Are these repeaters or simplex channels?

They will be used quite a lot when the fire towers are up. That should be around the 1st of April. Both of those frequencies are simplex. 151.145 is a repeater with various input pl's for different locations.

Hi:

151.235 PL 71.9 is certainly used a lot. This is DCR Ch 13 (fire lookout towers).
151.310 PL 71.9 is certainly used a lot. This is DCR Ch 14 (fire lookout towers).

They are both direct/simplex. Only DCR channels 2-11 are the 151.145 rptr output PL 71.9.

I would guess at any moment ch 13 & 14 should start getting active w/ fire tower chatter, having all this warm weather. Though the staffing levels don't usually start until May.

Do u guys know the frequency for the Monterey MA fire tower in Berkshire County?

The Monterey Tower should be on Channel 13, which is 151.2350 and a PL of 71.9
