Are the VHF med central frequencies for Middlesex County still in use? I had some free time today and decided to play with my scanner a bit and noticing that I am hearing nothing on 155.220, 155.325, and 155.355. Are these deprecated or back up use only now??

A contact of mine tells me that they are used as a back-up now, but the JEMS are used for Mutual Aid/On Scene coordination only (in the Middlesex County area). The NJICS provides a more superior coverage area than the VHF system did, so that is used as primary. Most ambulance services use an MDT based system now for data, but they do maintain those Med Central freqs in their radio plans (for now).

Thank you very much for clarifying this GM. It is very important the DB stays up to date.
