Can anyone explain the format in which medevac landing zone coordinates are dispatched? They don’t seem to match any of the common formats (DD, DMM, DMS).

The example from a dispatch today:
North 3903.91
West 7454.58

Plugging these into google maps or a gps conversion page yields inaccurate results.

That's Degree Decimal Minute format, albeit without the 'punctuation'. - using your coordinates, the LZ was located at 317 George Ave, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210, United States and should be written as 39° 03.91 N 74° 54.58 W

Thank you! That definitely makes sense. I must have jotted the numbers down wrong, it was supposed to be a small airfield per the dispatch (can’t recall the name). Good thing I’m not a pilot lol.
