Dozens of medical emergencies every day. Most of the time, you just don't hear about it.
You can hear a lot of medical emergencies by monitoring the ARINC San Francisco Radio frequencies. They can put phone patches on that frequency and connect the pilots to medical professionals who are familiar with the emergency medical equipment on the aircraft. It can be interesting to monitor during those scenarios

That 27 number is pretty accurate. 2021 was 27 per day. 2022 is at 29 per day. Under normal traffic (2018), it's about 35 per day.
