Meeting?

We used to do this where I formerly lived (Washington) semi-regularly, but has anyone floated the idea of a scanhead/hammie meeting here in MS? I'm up for doing the legwork if we want to do a Coastal one. We used to just get a conference room/party room in a restaurant somewhere that everyone (or most) could agree on and gab for a few hours. It was a nice way to put faces with names/screennames, bounce ideas/freqs/etc off each other.

Well now that storm season is fizzling out and Milton isn't coming our way, I will bring this up again.

I'm willing to go as far north as Hattiesburg.

Well the last week of October is definitely out for me due to work; what about the first week or so in November? Do people feel comfortable with Hattiesburg (we can run carpool too)?
