So no one has a mem file of Brevard County? nor listens to them? If not, can someone point me in the right direction of entering info into my scanner to monitor? I am new to EDACS trunking so I don't think I can enter just the control channels like the 800 Mhz MPSCS in Michigan. Do I just enter the freqs in Logical Channel #? thanks for any and all help.

also search for "Central Florida Listeners Group" + "Orlando Area Frequencies" should bring up some stuff when used with Yahoo...Good Luck...

I can't remember the details about Brevard they were just starting too use 800 mghz when I last listened too them, I was using older pre-800 mghz scanners and ham wide band recievers. Sorry...
But I think the site you find will help you. Good Luck...Ray

I have a good setup for Brevard County if anyone is interested.. Nothing digital, just the analog stuff.. For ARC8/ARC246/ARC330/ARC780/ARC250 ...

I've contacted Gadgetmann and provided it to him.

JWhipple, yes you did and it works great, just what I was looking for thanks much. Now I just have to figure out how to lockout animal control and the road crews :) Also, just curious what digital stuff is in the area? thanks again.

If organized by agencies, the ten scanlist can be managed by pressing a number corresponding to a list. This will toggle group list off/on during ID SCAN mode.

Another method is to press ^HOLD repeatedly through each ID and lockout undesired ID's.

It sounds like you have it in SEARCH mode, as I didn't have the road crews or animal control... Well ok, Animal Control does occasionally come up on the 01-041 Countywide talkgroup, but thats only when they need to communicate with the police agencies.

As far as what digital stuff is in the area - Florida Highway Patrol is currently on a Motorola digital system, but are soon migrating to Provoice EDACS (which of course nobody can monitor on a scanner)... Kennedy Space Center and Patrick AFB also runs digital Motorola systems.

I wouldn't be able to help you there - even though I have a BC785D, I don't have a digital card for it.. All I monitor is the county EDACS system..
