R7100 Memory battery

I pulled my old 7100 out of storage, and she stil sounds great. I noticed the memories are not holding so I assume the battery went kaput being is storage s long. Question…can that battery be brought back to life if I keep the radio on and running for 24 hours? Thanks!

R7100 uses 2 CR2032 style coin cell batteries 1 is memory and 1 is clock. Owners manual has location and the cell holders are between the 2 halves of the radio.

I know when this happens to my R8600, I plug it in for half a day and recharges the battery. Not sure if yours is the same. Doesn’t hurt to plug it in for awhile and see if it does charge them back up.
