memory card brand names

i'm assuming that the ws1080 hates g.skill and transcend cards, so i just brought 3 sandisk cards...

Well, that's a name brand card, so...

Sandisk should be fine, but g.Skill is not an "off brand" at all. My last two PC builds have G.Skill memory in them and it's good stuff. I have several of their SD cards and they work as well as any others. I've had a couple of squirelly Transcend cards, but most of the later ones are ok, too.

I too have used several no name cards in my PSR800 with no problems at all ... I think you have not formatted them properly for use in the scanners.

You can try that .. I know that can solve some issues.
