Memphis ARTCC Inquiry

Inquiring as to Memphis ARTCC/ZME and have they had a possible high altitude frequency change from 122.275 to 135.500? This would be sector TINGS-H-25 in the area of Paducah and southwest of there and for altitudes between FL240 and FL350. Any ideas? Nothing being heard on 122.275. No known NOTAMs on any changes.

Hi Dave,

I have also noticed this from my location under the ZKC14 sector just to the North of ZME25. I am getting ready to change the database listing but am trying to get info from ZME as to if this is permanent or temporary. Interestingly this very frequency (135.5) used to be the low freq for the ZME Paducah Low sector a few years ago. So I wonder if it is possibly still at Paducah, Troy and Cape Giradeau as well like it used to be.

You might keep a ear open for 354.15 also to see if its still paired with 135.5. Or, maybe there's a knew UHF freq also that we don't know about.

Called down to ZME today and confirmed that 135.5 is the replacement for 122.275 and the UHF did not change. Also changed the RCAG name to Troy TN from South Fulton, TN as that is now what it is called. Same location, new name.

Thanks for the update. I sit under ZME L 41 and am able to hear 135.5 pretty good. Will monitor for any additional changes.
