Just wondering if anyone can identify a number of talkgroups in Menominee County that appear to be used for comms by the various
township fire departments aside from those used by dispatch to activate their pagers?

The short list (below) is some of those TG's that I've logged while observing voice traffic. I am sure there are others, probably
one for each of the township departments?

6355
6492
6493
6495
6498
6505

I have noticed that too. I can give you 6355 seems to be Mid Co 114 Ambulance, 6493 seems to be all Co. EMS units, 6495 seems to be all Co. Fire units, 6498 Appears to be Mellen Fire. Other talk groups to watch are: 6324, 6474(May be Cedarville Fire), 6483, 6491(may be Cedarville Fire), 6497, and 6500. The first three I am pretty sure of but the rest is a guess at this time.

Thank you!

I was aware of all of the talkgroups used for paging since they were first implemented but hadn't paid much attention to the
"New to Me" voice talkgroups that have been added along the way.

I run continuous logging in op25 that alerted me to these TGID's that prompted me to add them into my scan list
whereby I heard traffic on them during a fire about a week ago. Unfortunately, I was tied up with other activities at the time
and was unable to listen to what departments were talking to make any notes to associate them to specific talkgroups.

Is there a plan to move all county fire and rescue comms to the statewide trunking system and abandon vhf?
I haven’t monitored the VHF frequencies for a while. Perhaps @hightime will chime in who can better answer that question.
However, from my perspective, they have completely migrated to the MPSCS.

Just checked my logs and 154.415 tone 94.8 has not been used since, at least, the beginning of the month. Just yesterday heard Mid Co 114 paged to a call via tg 6472, 114 Emer Med Responders acknowledged the page on tg 6355, and used tg 6493 to advise dispatch that they were enroute to the call and to the Hospital. So, yes I would say at least EMS and most likely Fire has migrated to MPSCS.

Added quite a few to the database, the alpha tags are correct. Ones we're not sure for their usage and description is
6373 55PG114C
6374 55PG114E

154.415 still in use?
