Menu/function button

Does this button suppose to be back lit
Mine is not and not sure how to turn it on

Might be a good idea to tell people exactly what scanner radio you are referring to. I don't see any reference as to what model you are inquiring about. The possibilities are endless.

The SDS 200 doesn't have a menu button per se unless you mean the SQ Knob.

if your talking about the knob on the left yes mine is backlit
