Meteorite impacts across southern WI...??

Got this from the MKX Area Forcast Discussion (AFD) of all places:

ON ASIDE...RECEIVED REPORTS OF METEORITES MAKING IMPACT ACROSS
SOUTHERN WISCONSIN...FROM WINNEBAGO COUNTY (THANKS GRB) TO THE
JANESVILLE...MADISON AND DARIEN AREAS. ALSO REPORTS FARTHER WEST
AND SOUTH IN CENTRAL IOWA AND NORTHWEST ILLINOIS. SOME VISUAL
REPORTS OF METEORITES MAKING IMPACT IN DANE AND ROCK COUNTIES.
SHERIFFS INVESTIGATING ATTM.

Anybody hearing anything about this?

That was no plane

About 7pm Walworth co sheriff got a call about a possible plane crash somebody seen something fall from the sky. It all starting to make sence now.

I was hearing numerous reports of it last night while I was out and about in Madison. I thought I heard most reports were from the south and west side areas.
