I was reviewing my security camera mounted on the roof, and noticed what I thought at that time a meteriod or something like that. I noticed one quarter sized shot twards the camera, passing within 12 inches of the camera. The camera is a color/IR type. This happened at nite and the camera started seeing the meteroid from a block away.

Just checked the DVR and this event has been overwritten - dam arghhh!

I thought somthing looked funny/diffferent, but dismissed it becasue there was another instance right around the time of the meteroid shower that was a big bug flying past the cam.

I watched the meteroid flying past the camera 20-30 times, so I do remember the angle of the meteroid from the horizon moving past the camera. What is the chance if I seen a approx quarter sized meteroid of recovering it? The angle now appears to take the meteroid very close to hitting the roof.

.........wish I would have read this post right after the meteroid shower

I'm not sure what you could be referring to - but it was not a meteorite. Probably a bug or reflection off of something else.
