Meters Calculation Question

Alright, I guess I'm not that far in my book yet, but quick question please!

I know you doo 300 divided by your frequency to find the meters.

But, what do you do to find the opposite? So you have the meters, but not the frequency.


Well, off to read some more. I have learned alot about HAM, and I'm excited to goto the local club meeting soon.

You have the first one right, just do the same thing.

Wavelengh = 300/Frequency

Frequency = 300/Wavelengh

If you have the ARRL ham radio license manual that has the question pool that is effective today(07/01/2010), you may want to go to arrl.org/hrlm and see how many mistakes they made and if questions were removed from the pool since the printing of the manual

While there is no age limit for the license, you do need some real world skills, like reading, writing, and basic algebra.
