I am trying to figure out which units are dispatched by MICCOM and what the callsigns correspond to.
As far as I can tell, 100s are Hackensack, 200s are Englewood, 300s are Holy Name and 400s are Valley? 700s are St Joe's out of Paterson or Wayne?

For the second digit, seems like 0 is ALS and 3 is BLS? I've heard X4X and X8X too, not sure who those are

Thanks!

Correct, 101-106 is HUMC ALS , 401-403 Are Valley ALS, 431 would be a Valley BLS Ambulance. The Valley trucks are lettered 4001, 4004 etc They have multiple backups. The BLS are usually 4031 etc for 431.

I stopped working there in 2008 and left the area at the end of 2010, but I'm guessing the numbering system hasn't changed much.

Radio/Crew ID
1st digit - participating hospital system
2nd digit - type of unit
0 - ALS w/o transport capability
1 - ALS w/transport capability
2 - SCTU/Critical care transport
3 - BLS
4 - Possibly non-emergenct transport - Never had any of these when I was there
5 - Temporary/Standby ALS
6 - Special Operations
7 - Bike Teams/Gators??
8 - BLS supervisor
9- ALS Supervisor
3rd digit - sequencing of type

Four digit numbers were for vehicle ID. The vehicle and radio ID would not always match as units were rotated (101 using truck D which would ID as 1004) 331 using 3036.

Historical IDs: 500 - Pascack Valley (now HUMC), 600 - Wayne General (now St Joes), 800 - Passaic/Clifton (now St Clare's), 900 - Chilton (now Atlantic)

This remains accurate.

To add:
1 - Hackensack
2 - Englewood
3 - Holy Name
4 - Valley
5 - N/A (as it was originally PVH then reassigned to Saint Clare's on MotoTRBO prior to SCHS starting their own PSDP) however has been "reassigned" as Bergen County BLS
6 - N/A (Formerly Wayne General)
7 - Saint Joe's
8 - N/A (Formerly Passaic General/Saint Mary's)
9 - N/A (Formerly Chilton)

It should also be noted that physical truck numbers do not ever indicate the actual unit's radio call sign.
