It helps if you associate an agency with these, as the same code might mean different things to different groups. (Hence the push for plain language, especially when multiple agencies are involved.)

3500 is common for marijuana, and might be used for drugs as a generic.

"K" is commonly used to indicate a death. ("K-type injuries" means that the patient has very serious injuries, and might not live.)

MBC is probably MDC; Mobile Data Computer. That term is kind of replacing MDT, but like anything new, it'll take time to catch on.
"NC number" is probably "MC number", which refers to a boat registration; Michigan boat registration numbers begin with MC.
NCC is the Network Communication Center in Lansing; when an officer activates the emergency button on their PREP (portable radio), it shows up at select dispatch centers and at the NCC. We have to call them to let them know if it was a real emergency or an accidental activation.
3500 is UCR code (there's another one for you - Uniform Crime Reporting) for drug offenses.
"K" is used by a lot of departments to signify a death. (Legend has it that it came from the military term for "kill", but who knows for sure any more).
NCIC is the National Crime Information Center.

RE: Prep

Around 1964-1965 the Detroit Police Department got its first portable radios (Moto HT200s). To publicize this, the department put a full-page picture of a Detroit Police motorcycle officer in full uniform with the HT prominently displayed in its holster on the back page of the front section of the Detroit Free Press (I don't remember if it was also in the Detroit News at the same time or not). Above the picture at the top of the page in large bold type was the phrase "Portable Radio Equipped Patrolman". Almost immediately department members and dispatchers began referring to the radios on the air as "preps". This soon became the standard nomenclature throughout the department. Gradually, this term began to be used by many Detroit area police, fire, and ems departments and continues to this day.

DMV is normally Department of Motor Vehicles but Michigan doesn't have a DMV, the equivalent department in Michigan is the Secretary of State.

"MASH" might be Macomb County Sheriff. LEIN (Law Enforcement Information Network) used to use mnemonics to designate different agencies. Any agency using "xxSH" was a Sheriff's Department. Central Dispatch was "xxCD", Police Departments were "xxPD", Prosecutors were "xxPA". Calhoun County was CASH, Kalamazoo County was KASH, etc. They did away with that system shortly before or around the same time that TALON went live. I think there were too many agencies & not enough mnemonics to cover them all, so now we have to use the full ORI (ORganizational Identifier), which is more in line with NCIC standards.

(As a side note, we were "BCCD" for Battle Creek Central Dispatch, & the PD was "BCPD"; we frequently used to get messages that were meant for Bay County or Bay City, which were "BYCD" & "BYPD", respectively.)

MSPR I agree most likely MDOT Courtesy Patrol

IA Unit is Internal Affairs
NCSC I don't know but CSC is Criminal Sexual Conduct
MO Method of Operation

MSPR is probably going to be the courtesy vans. Those are sent to help a disabled motorist with flats, out of gas etc.
