C.H.I.E.F.: [can't find this one]
C.I.D.: Criminal Investigation Division
S.E.C.I.D.: South Eastern Criminal Investigation Division

I also heard the MSP use a code of 625-G yesterday ... they said it was entered at 9:05 AM by Wyoming (the city).
Anyone know what that could mean?

"625G" - Officer believes driver was 'under the influence' but driver has not been convicted of anything. If he is found to be 'DUI' then the violation will appear on his record. This is a state internal message only. If message appears on record state needs to be notified so that they can correct.

It means that the person's driver's license has been confiscated due to refusal to submit to a chemical test, or if permission for a chemical test was granted but showed unlawful alcohol content. A temporary license may or may not have been issued, depending on the circumstances. As Bill stated, it doesn't mean that the person has been convicted...only that there was probable cause (through evidence) that the person was in violation of the OWI laws.

Does anyone know if there is a reference listing what codes michigan state police use, .ie 5400 activity or any other number they use over the radio? 5400 may not even exist, just using it as an example.

Thanks

Looks like there is a lot of related info here:

Not sure how current it is.

Most of the above looks correct, except for Berrien County Ambulance code 5, which is actually "Fatal, or units tied up- content dependent", and also code 6, "Inter-Hospital transfer".
