1405- Wardog 01 (MD ANG OA-10) & Axeman 01 flt (MD ANG A-10s) w/Potomac (257.2). A2A is 293.3.
Funny as I just got RAVEN-53 with Atlantic City apch 327.125 says after 45 min or so of range practice
wants to land and taxi at A/C then quickly depart as we are not allowed to do touch and go's.
Never heard of that but come to think of it have never heard local A-10 do touch and go's.
Missed or close approaches yes at Dover but T+G never... hmm. Must be some type of mechanical/safety restriction perhaps.

311.000 was just active at 2135 UTC broken and barely readable in WNY. It sounded like India 01 or possibly Indy 01. Phonetically spelled out TCAS. Only thing “nearby” on ADS-B is a KC-135 59-1474 down near Erie, PA at FL310 that appears to be en route back to Selfridge from off the coast of Jersey.

311.000 doubles at times or used to be CP freq for Pittsburgh KC-135's. I think a few other bases use that too.

O.T. Posted on another list

2006z 29 Jan 25

11175.0 was active at 0009z and 0013z with HOUSE TOP conducting their system wide daily new UTC day communications test counts.

1515z: UNANIMOUS (strong on central US SDRs) calling and working GRASS FOX to enter the net.

1534z; 1600z; 1630z: GRASS FOX standing by for traffic.

1634z FREELAND calling and eventually (1648z) raising GRASS FOX to enter the net.

1811z: UNANIMOUS called WESSON OIL multiple times with no response.

1924z UNANIMOUS again calls WESSON OIL a number of times.

1929z UNANIMOUS again calls WESSON OIL resulting in HOUSE TOP responding to UNANIMOUS with a signal check; and, UNANIMOUS responding with the same and gone.

UNANIMOUS may be MAPES 42 but has now gone dark on ADSB mapping sites (just after departing a tight racetrack orbit south of Kansas City). FREELAND remains dark.

Caught them flying over SE Ohio using 150.200 for air to air communications.
They also mentioned the frequencies of 228.700 and 395.100.
Thanks Tazz. Yeah 2 new freqs for me.. 395.100 is their Harrisburg CP and many units
use their own CP freqs from time to time as their A/A when heading out of town.

The New Mexico 415th SOS guys just got the last new MC-130J type...
