I appreciate the antenna recommendation and will consider it. I've heard it is a good discone. I'm familiar as I have two, one an old Radio Shack model, the other is one I bought many years ago from Universal Radio, might be a Diamond but lost track of exactly what type. If I dug through my records I might find the details. Both have always been used indoors so still in decent shape. But SO-239 connectors, not N connectors.

I briefly reviewed my lake scanner MilAir recordings from yesterday and nothing jumped at me as being possible helo hits. However, related to a past post, I again had hits on 150.150 AM. I believe I heard the callsign AERO 42 (four two), not direct but referenced/called by another pilot/crew. So, a possible crumb of evidence as to who I'm hearing on this freq. I have to listen again with headphones to be more certain that's what I heard and see if I can pull out any additional details.

How about EURO 42. Departed Madison 08-09-26 around 12 noon. They had a lot of T-38's depart Madison. 11 T-38's departed Madison.

Thanks Chuck, I will check the details and listen again. I suppose EURO could sound like AERO/ARROW especially if the start of the transmission was chopped or obscured by noise.

Is there a history feature to ADS-B Exchange? I thought I saw something like that when I started learning about it...

I think I have an answer to my own question. According to AI:

"Yes, ADS-B Exchange offers historical flight data access for up to 10 years to subscription customers. This allows users to analyze past aircraft movements and operational data."

The second button from the bottom on the right hand side is the playback button.
