Very nice! I just joined as well.

I also just finished plugging in every freq. I could find so I should get better results now than when I had the 4 or 5 from the book I found  "Books are for reading, not for scanning" You can quote that  Mine was out of date before I got it I'm pretty sure.

Cheers,

Hey Kurzer,

You hear anything yet? I left my scanner on all day recording on the computer, and i get intermod like crazy with the TV towers on the west hills. I did hear 3 things all day long, but it wasnt very clear even though it was a plane landing on 10R. Im on Mt. Scott and was wondering if you had any better luck.

Yup, that is a problem. I'm over in Beaverton and have to use various filters on my outside antennas to try and reduce some of the interference.

One thing that really helped was an FM filter. You can get them at Radio Shack. That seemed to reduce a lot of the trouble on most of my radios at home.

Just one plane huh? Well, keep trying, soon you will learn our ways

But this is with a pro 95, which is not designed for the milair band, and is very deaf in this band also. At 380 mhz its sensitivity is 100 UV, which sucks.
That is why I will soon be buying a pro-97

I'm looking forward to the weekend. As far as guard ops go, the weekend is usually busy. I've picked up very faint things from Ft. Lewis and some AWACS. When I was in the ORARNG the weekends were busy. I'll try to get up on Bald Peak and see what I can find :D
