Military Aircraft (Southern Ontario Caanda)

Sorry It Took so long to post this, I am in Fort Erie Ontario at 10:45AM 14:45 UTC I herd a Military fighter jet coming from the the south west it made a sharp turn and headed north west, very low flying and moving very fast, extremely loud because he was below the cloud cover. could have been a looked like a F15 but could be wrong, also at the same time and this is why I think some kind of exercise is going on, On 226.300 MHz I herd (10 mile to target..... 10 miles to downtown Toronto .......... Target is hostel .................................... I have now locked onto the target.

Any Idea what is going on or any other information.

226.3 was not on the last list of freqs you posted way back. Got any other goodies you have found?

Hi Gator, I just happened to have my scanner on and caught the 226.300 frequency, send me the information on the strange frequency to slstdenis@cogeco.ca

MAPLE 69 x 3 Vermont F-16's.

Hello all,
That might have been Vermont F-16's doing a practice intercept in your area. They were at the St Thomas airshow for a flyby. A friend of mine in Lansing MI heard them on that freq later in the day on Sunday. I also heard them Sunday afternoon doing the low level route in MI. I didn't catch them on the UHF freq, I only heard them on VHF ATC.
