Millburn FD made an announcement the other night that they would be operating on the Summit NJ fire frequency until the new repeater for Millburn was installed/up and running. Anyone have info whether they are moving to UHF?

Millburn is still on VHF but they now have a repeater, output is same freq as before 154.205
Summit is still simplex, maybe someday they will upgrade they are about the only department in union county without a repeater

I love to know where they got a pair my agency has gotten SCREWED from the state frequency coordinator in this state for over two years the guy does not even return a call phone or written request. He tells us that VHF pairs are not available which he is totally full of sh*t I can name numerous departments in my area that have been granted VHF pairs over the last 5 years.

Are you working with an agent to help get the frequencies?

Does anyone know the input freq for their repeated channel and are they keeping the same PL 114.8?
