Announcement TGID,s are used by cities to communicate over FD, PD, and/or DPW TG at the same time. Example would be dispatch announcing a tornado warning.

The only time you may hear MPD on OASIS if they use OACHASE or OACALL if thy patch in.

Yes it's a good idea to program those. Mitchell Airport's announcement TG often issues announcements that are weather related. Nearby lightning strikes quite often.

2032 is used to activate the Milwaukee County warning sirens. This replaced the old 453.375mhz. I have not heard any voice communication on 2032 thus far but don't rule it out. Not sure if the others broadcast weather alerts but still not a bad idea to put them on your scanner.

I heard it but I fell asleep and the scanner died anyway. It needs new batteries but I just have been lazy lately. :)

Well I think they might be making adjustments to the system. I hear tones on there all the time. Perhaps this new system can be more easily programed so only certain sirens can be activated based on the path of a storm. The old one was pretty much all or nothing and/or not practical to program it.

I would imagine for large fire or extended crime scenes. Often times you may hear something on those for special events. So it's probably a good idea to have those on your scanner. When the RNC gets going, chances are many of those will be jumping.
