Does anybody know where I can get a Minitor II pager programmed? Preferably in Tulsa or the surrounding area

Thanks!

A Minitor II? Programmed?

Minitor II's are crystalled, with plug in reeds for the tones.

Programmable in the Minitors did not come until the
Minitor III's.

Do you just need to change the tones, or the frequency?

If it is just tones, what tones do you need, I have a fair supply of them.

mintor

I bought one on ebay for a friend on Skiatook Fire, so I need to get the frequency changed.

How do they set the channel for 'open' or no tones? is there a specific cartridge for that, or do they just leave the tone plug-ins out?

Thanks!

I use a Minitor II to monitor my VFD. It has tone reeds installed for another department. It has three positions. One looks like a bell. Thats for using the tone reeds alert. I simply set it on position 1 and hear all the traffic that comes across.

Total Radio said they can re-program the pager for $40 and it will take aprox. 30 minutes. Not very cheap, but oh well.

the problem with this one is it is a 1 channel pager without the 'bell' or 'open' knob. I know what you are talking about; The only typr of Minitor II I have seen before this onewa the 2 channel version that has 2 knobs on top.

could I just remove the tone reeds to allow it to recieve all incoming traffic on it's programmed freq?
