Columbia Police Department responded to a shots fired call last night at the 1500 Block of Greensboro Dr. Caller stated she heard 4-5 shots, and men screaming. Upon arrival, both the suspect and victim of the shooting had fled the scene. Columbia Police sent an officer to each hospital in the city, and about 30 minutes later a shooting victim arrived at University Hospital. The victim was a B/M 19YOA with a GSW to the left leg. He is currently in stable condition. The search for the shooter is currently underway.

Columbia Fire Department, Boone County Fire, and Columbia Police Department responded to a rollover/hazmat accident this morning that closed both lanes of eastbound I-70 at the 128 mile marker. Upon arrival we saw that the placard was ammonia and then assumed to back traffic up in case of an explosion that could occur during extrication of the driver. The driver was unharmed but taken to UMC for a check up, and the incident went without problems.
